LONG TALK AFTER BIG VICTORY
So the final round of the National Rally Cup is over, and it brought the victory to Dmitry TAGIROV and Anna ZAVERSHINSKAYA. The victory that was the main goal of the season, the victory towards which all the efforts were made. And by the end of the day that victory could be called one that the crew definitely deserved! The crew arrived to the final round with a good points reserve, but the event itself couldn’t be called an easy walk! Too many things were simply not seen from aside, so it’s better to give the possibility to the sportsmen to tell about everything themselves.
DMITRY TAGIROV AND ANNA ZAVERSHINSKAYA WIN THE RUSSIAN RALLY CUP!
The crew of Dmitry Tagirov and Anna Zavershinskaya managed to finish the 2010 Russian Rally Cup on a high note with a victory in the final round of that series, "The Caucasus Foothill Rally". So after they had a confident lead during a good half of the season, they won also the entire series for the first time in their mutual career as a single crew. Despite Dmitry and Anna had arrived to the final round with a good reserve of points and only the sixth place in the exact event could provide them a series' win, they managed to win all but one special stages of the rally, taking the overall victory in that rally!
WE JUST WANT TO SET THE FINAL MARK IN THE SEASON
So the time for the final battle for Russian Rally Cup -2010 had come! The crew, which is leading the series before the final round quite comfortably, waiting for a high level of sporting fight and try to keep as much concentration as possible before the race, that is going to be the main for them in that season.
Truly “final rehearsal”
Dmitry TAGIROV and Anna ZAVERSHINSKAYA had completed the penultimate round of the Russian Rally Cup (and the last event in the pre-final part of that series) with a victory. But that victory, that is the seventh for the crew in that season – was not an easy job! The competition level at the event near the “Northern Capital” of Russia was extremely high!
