Estonia calls again

11tall_plate The crew of Dmitri Tagirov and Anna Zavershinskaya appeared literally at the last moment in the participants' list of the first gravel Baltic Rally in 2011 - Honda Rally Tallinn. In fact, the decision to start at this prestigious race with a long and beautiful history was made on the eve of May Day, but the application was under validation. By now (the deadline was extended prior to the evening of May 2) 86 crews representing 7 countries confirmed their wish to start in the Estonian capital. More than a dozen of Russian pilots are among them

And "performance for fun" now even has more priority as Russian crew would use in Tallinn Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX again - the other car than they are driving in PWRC. And the smooth and quick Estonian roads do not resemble those of Argentina, which are waiting for the crews for the next PWRC round in late May - probably, to prepare for a future World event it would be more of the logical "to refresh the Portuguese memories".

But every gravel experience is the gravel experience anyway... Secondly - the crew did not have a single start for over a month so any extra practice is valuable. And thirdly - Estonian roads are completely self-contained experience. And this impression uses to be very positive! So, once it became clear that the personal schedules will let to go to this start - the decision was made!

Rally of Tallinn will take place on May 6-7, would have a distance of just over 350 total miles, of which about a hundred would be a distance of 9 competitive stages: three on the first day (Friday), and six - in the second (Saturday). Some of the stages were not used in the route of this race for over 10 years
